Goals

• Develop competence for the design of complex industrial systems, related to control and supervision. (Measured in terms of transfer of knowledge, people, and software to the industrial partners.)
• Establish and develop international contacts within this area, with emphasis on industrial relevance. (Measured in terms of EU-cooperation, visitors, joint publications etc.)
• Have a clear impact on the design process for at least one subproblem and/or at least one product in each of the participating industrial partners after five years.
• Produce PhD:s and Tekn.Lic:s with an integrated perspective and knowledge of the ISIS problem area with at least 8 per year after a build-up-period.
