Johan Dahlin

Johan Dahlin was born in Enköping, Sweden in 1986. He is currently a PhD student at the Division of Automatic Control at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköping University since September 2011.

In June 2011 he received the MSc degree in Engineering Physics with a major in Mathematical Statistics and Mathematics. In July 2011 he received the BSc degree in Business Administration and Economics with a major in Economics, both from Umeå University. His current main research interest is System Identification and State Estimation of non-linear (non-Gaussian) systems using different kinds of computer intensive statistical methods, i.e. Particle MCMC and Sequential Monte Carlo methods, in combination with (non-parametric) Bayesian statistics.

Other areas of interests include non-parametric statistics, data mining, network analysis, econometrics, and agent-based modelling. For further information regarding Johan's work and experience, see this homepage as well as his private homepage.
