I am a Ph.D. student at the Division of Automatic Control at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Linköping University. I received my M.Sc. in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering (Y) in December 2008 and have been working as a Ph.D. student since. In 2012, I spent the time from January to April at the University of California, Berkeley, where I worked as a visiting student researcher together with Prof. Michael I. Jordan.
My research interests are in Monte Carlo methods for statistical inference in dynamical systems. I am interested in both state estimation and identification problems, primarily for nonlinear and/or non-Gaussian systems. I am working with various aspects of Monte Carlo, such as sequential Monte Carlo, Markov chain Monte Carlo and the combintation of the two in so called particle MCMC methods. A list of my publications can be found here.
