Jonas Callmer

Jonas Callmer is a Ph.D. student at the Division of Automatic Control at the Department of Electrical Engineering at Linköpings universitet (Linköping University). He started his Ph.D. studies in June 2008 after completing his M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering (Y) at Linköpings universitet.

His main area of research is within indoor localization, specifically for fire fighters in a building with unknown layout. May 6th 2011, Jonas successfully defended his Licentiate Thesis. It can be downloaded here.

From November 2007 to April 2008, Jonas visited The Australian Centre for Field Robotics at University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia, researching for his Master's Thesis. The thesis, co-written with Karl Granström, was entitled Large Scale SLAM in an Urban Environment.
