Course Information

Digital Signal Processing, TSRT78, HT2, 2011

Labs

There are 2 mandatory labs in the course:

  • Lab 1 Fundamental signal processing. The purpose of this lab is to get practical experience with the theory and algorithms that are discussed in the course book.
  • Lab 2 Active noise control. Active noise control deals with the problem of suppressing disturbing sound in real time. The purpose of this lab is to implement and test a method for active noise control using adaptive filters.

Practicalities

Both labs are conducted in groups of 2 students and you have to register for both labs, which you can do online, click here (note that you can change language in the top left corner).

OBS! There is a limited number of participants for each lab. Do not overbook the labs.

The labs are conducted in the student lab of the Division of Automatic Control, Laboteket, which is located in house B (entrance 27, corridor C).

Laboteket is available also outside the scheduled time. In order to enter the Laboteket you will need your LiU-card.

The course assistant is responsible for the lab schedule Fredrik Lindsten, lindsten_at_isy.liu.se, 281365.
