Course Information

Digital Signal Processing, TSRT78, HT2, 2009

Labs

There are 2 mandatory labs in the course:

  • Lab 1 Fundamental signal processing. The purpose of this lab is to get practical experience with the theory and algorithms that are discussed in the course book.
  • Lab 2 Active noise control. Active noise control deals with the problem of suppressing disturbing sound in real time. The purpose of this lab is to implement and test a method for active noise control using adaptive filters.

Practicalities

Both labs are conducted in groups of 2 students and you have to register for both labs. The lists for registration will be available during the first problem class and thereafter they will be available in house B (entrance 27, corridor C) on the notice board close to the library.

OBS! There is a limited number of participants for each lab. Do not overbook the labs.

The labs are conducted in the student lab of the Division of Automatic Control, Laboteket, which is located in house B (entrance 27, corridor C).

Laboteket is available also outside the scheduled time. In order to enter the Laboteket you will need your LiU-card.

The course assistant is responsible for the lab schedule Jonas Callmer, callmer_at_isy.liu.se, 282306.
